Your wedding is one of the biggest, most memorable days of your life. And while that is obviously exciting, it means there’s an enormous amount of stress and pressure to get it right. Even the calmest and laid back woman can turn into bridezilla with a wedding on the horizon, and so it’s important to do what you can to keep stress to a minimum. Here are a few ways you can do exactly that!

Bride Robe

Start Early

Once you’re engaged, chances are you will be keen to get the wedding set up. However, trying to get everything done within a short space of time will make it all much more difficult. If you want to enjoy the process and get things done with as little stress as possible, give yourself more time. Book the wedding for a year away instead of six months, or eighteen months away instead of a year. In the grand scheme of things, those six months won’t make a difference when you’ve been happily married for years. But in the here and now, you have more chance to save, plan and get the details right. Your first step would be to set the date, that way you know exactly how much time you’re working with. And then start making arrangements right away, even if it’s just research to begin with. You will want to view portfolios and read reviews from your vendors. You will want to start researching different styles of wedding dresses, or maybe start a health and fitness regime, so you feel your very best on the big day. Starting early gives you more opportunities to decide exactly what you want, to get things booked up and change your mind on different ideas if necessary.

Go All Inclusive

You already have a million things to do when it comes to planning your wedding. Buying rings, the dress, practicing your first dance, working out seating arrangements and everything else. So instead of giving yourself more things to do, why not look into all-inclusive wedding packages? That way your venue, the food, DJ and music, cake, centerpieces and all of the personnel are taken care off. It can be a huge weight off your mind, and you know that everything will be beautifully executed with no additional hassle to you. On the day of your wedding, you can focus on getting yourself ready and enjoying the experience without worrying about arranging additional things.

Go Online

Wedding stationery is expensive. Writing out and posting hundreds of invitations (along with all of the other pieces of stationery you need to send for a wedding) can be a big use of time and money. In this modern day in age, everything is done online so why not take advantage of this? If you set up a wedding website you can provide guests with everything they need, without having to send out multiple pieces of paper. You could include your wedding venue details and the time of each event. A map and directions to get there, your gift list, table plans and anything else you’d like to include. There are free wedding website templates you can use online which make the process so much quicker and easier for you.
