If you’re wondering how you can work your makeup routine into this Christmassy season – look no further!

1||Soak Up The Good Stuff

It’s winter, which means your skin in going to be dried out! This isn’t good, especially if you are planning on adding makeup. So a good moisturizer is your new best friend this winter. Every day, morning and night, you will want to coat it all over your body (focusing on your face the most!) ALWAYS moisture before you do your makeup, not only will it keep your skin feeling fresh and soft, your makeup will sit a lot better.

2||Add Festive Colors To Your Pallette

Reds, burgundies, and metallics are a must-have this season. When doing your eye makeup, focus on getting some gold or silver in there. If you don’t want to go too over the top with these colors, just use a glittery metallic in the inner corner of your eyes. This will add a pop of highlight that will brighten your eyes up straight away. (You can also add a little to the center of your lid for the same effect, and on your lower lash line.) You can find all you need at the online beauty supply store.

3||Warm Yourself Up

After you have applied your usual foundation, consider adding a little bronzer (if you do this already, add a bit more than you normally would.) In the winter time, your color tends to drown out a little; you don’t want this to happen! People will start asking you if you’re ill, (so annoying!!) So warm up the face, but still keep it natural – you don’t want to look like an Oompa Loompa! (It’s a fine line ladies…)

4||All Red Everything

It’s time to show off, bring out that red lipstick that you have been saving for a special occasion. A great look to do with your lips is the ‘ombre’ effect. Line your lips with a dark red (or even brown) liner, focusing on the outer corner of your lips, then fill your lips in with the red you have, blending it into the darker edges. Finish this off by adding a lighter shade (or even a concealer you have) in the very center of your lips. Not only does this look amazing – it will give the illusion of having a plumper pout. (Where’s that mistletoe?)

5||Glow Like A Star

Don’t forget that golden highlight on the top of your cheekbones, down the center of your nose, on your brow bone, and anywhere else you want to glow! This will bring the whole look together, and your angles will be poppin’ in those Christmas selfies!

6||Smell Like A Treat

Last but not least, make sure you smell good enough to eat. Whatever your choice of perfume may be, don’t overdo it! No one wants to be choking on the fumes. Just spritz a little on the side of your neck, behind your ears, and at the back of your knees, (it rises!)
