Saturday was perfect. I woke up, made breakfast for Kendall and I, and headed to Cera to start my beautification for my wedding in April. He spent that time suit shopping and found his suit for the wedding! Things are moving quite along.

I’ve been getting cabin fever in the worst way with the weather we’ve been having. I feel like a cooped up kitty in a carrier, caught between wanting to get out and wanting to stay where it’s nice and warm and cozy. Even just going for a wax, I wanted to look nice. I actually wear this sweatshirt dress to work with tights, but I hate wearing tights sooo that was not going to happen. I actually consider my boots kind of tights since they cover most of my legs.

As I was running out the door, I texted Kendall- I wanted to FINALLY use my new camera outside and get some outfit pics when we both got home. Way overdue. It was just our luck that it had just started snowing and made for some nice pictures in my teddy bear jacket. My “uniform” changes from flats and a t-shirt dress in summer to boots and a sweatshirt dress in the winter. I have a look. (A look that made it easy for Sarah to spot me from across DuPont Circles as we were both running late for work one morning.)

But let me tell you about my teddy jacket. I’ve wanted one since October but I couldn’t find one I loved for a reasonable price. This gem was an Amazon find that I got when my boss very sweetly gave me a gift certificate for Christmas. It look for.ev.er. to come in, but the wait was worth it. The perfect rose color and so soft! And sorry for all the pics in this post. We were just so excited to play with this camera and do this shoot!
