Weddings are over in the blink of an eye. All those months of planning flash by in a blink. Suddenly, you’re thanking your guests for coming. And that can be anticlimactic. All the excitement and forward force of having a wedding to plan is gone. Sure, you have a husband and married life to embark on. But, the days in the direct aftermath can be a difficult period of adjustment.

The good news is, the wedding isn’t over the moment the day is behind you. After all, you still have your photos to wait for. It’s likely that your photographer spent a great deal of the day snapping the best moments, and it’ll be a good few weeks before you see the results. This can at least keep you in touch with the excitement of the day. And, to make sure the arrival of your pictures doesn’t go without notice, consider the following unique plans for displaying them.

Flushmount Wedding Album with Personalized Cover

 Slideshow night

You might want to arrange a get together with your guests the day your pictures arrive. Most modern wedding photographers offer photos on a CD so you can upload them to your computer. But, before you put them on Facebook, host a slideshow for everyone to see. Hold off looking until you can all experience the fun. If you have no idea what to expect, you can all laugh at the unfortunate pictures, and remember the day together.

Create a collage

Of course, a slideshow won’t keep your wedding day alive and strong in your minds. For that, you could always create a collage of your favorite pictures. If you buy a large frame, you can create a beautiful memory collage of the day. Or, you might want to dedicate a whole wall to the cause. Either way, you’ll be able to turn to this whenever you want to remember. Even better, guests will see this the moment they enter your home. What could be better for sharing the love?

Print your favorites onto household items

When it comes to keeping the day alive, it doesn’t get better than printing your favorite pics onto household items. You could print one of you and your hubby onto a mug. Why not put that group shot on a pillow? Some companies could do this for you. Or, you could buy a sublimation printer which would allow you to do this at home. You can read more about whether that would be worth your while on sites like Review Ambition. Either way, these would form the ideal daily reminder of your day.

Coffee table book

If your living room features a coffee table, get your wedding pictures printed into a coffee table book. Unlike a wedding album, this is a workable way to keep photos out and on display at all times. You can design one of these on programs such as Photoshop, or entrust the job to a professional company. Either way, this could form a fantastic point of coffee table interest.
