If you are a female and grew up in the 90s, chances are you saw Spice World. If that is the case, you definitely remember this quote:

And you totally just read it in Mel C.’s voice, you know, the Sporty one. But back to Posh and her little Gucci dresses. They were always short, sexy, and usually black. She honestly was the only Spice Girl who managed to NEVER look clownish in her caricature, although obviously my favorite was Baby. Posh had a stern sophistication that the other girls were lacking, now that I look back on it, and it carried into her sleek and put-together look today. Basically what I’m saying is that you just cannot go wrong with a little black dress.I’m not so into Posh’s itty bitty body-con look, but I prefer a bit of texture + flounce with my LBDs. The holidays might be over, but stick a couple of these in your closet and you’ll be good to go if any dressy-type emergency should arise.
