Thanksgiving is right around the corning, kicking off the holiday season. On our schedule, Kendall and I have a wedding that Saturday, one of my bridal showers, my office holiday party, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve. That’s at least five festive looks that need to be accompanied by some holiday frosting. Bling girls, glitter.

Besides my birthday, this is the time of year that is officially sparkle season, but that doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. My advice for holiday style on a budget- start with a black velvet dress and stock up on fun accessories to change the look so you can wear it at least twice for the season. The same black dress is going to look totally different with heels vs boots and a cardi vs a leather jacket, depending on the occasion.

I’ve been especially into statement earrings recently, which look super pretty with up-dos for those fancier occasions. I wouldn’t really chunk a big necklace with big earrings or a big bracelet with a big ring. Too much bling all in one place can look overdone, but if that’s what you’re going for you do you boo!

What’s your favorite accessory for the holidays?
