Everyone wants a magical, perfect wedding, but if you’re really honest with yourself, you also want your wedding to stand out. No one likes to admit that they want their wedding to be better than the one that they attended a few months ago, but it’s the truth, and it’s fairly understandable. Your wedding should be as unique as you are, so if you want yours to stand out, then have a read of the out-of-the-box ideas listed below.

The Juliette Blush Wedding Dress

Avoid White

When you think of a wedding, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the white wedding dress. However, considering that white symbolizes innocence and purity, it might not necessarily apply to your relationship. If you want to stand out from the crowd, then skip the white wedding dress, and go for one of the many other colours available. You could even dress your bridesmaids in white, so you’ll really contrast.

Ready to Ship Wedding Favors

Fab Favors

Your favors are supposed to be your way of thanking your loved ones for attending your wedding. Youwant to be unique, so you can do something completely different. There are so many better ideas for favors, such as toys for the little ones, personalized bars or chocolate, wedding favours magnets, or even sunscreen if you’re having an outdoor wedding.

Guest Transportation

If your ceremony is a while away from your reception, then you’ll likely be transporting your guests between the venues. If this is the case, then why not make the journey fun and unique by choosing some really out-there transport. Black cabs, red double decker-buses, yellow school buses, or even hot air balloons are all options that you could consider and are all way more interesting than a boring wedding car or limousine.

Rent A Video Booth

Back in the day, photo booths were sure to give your wedding an air of uniqueness and were a really fun thing for your wedding guests to do. These days, they’re still fun, but they’re also incredibly common. Video booths, on the other hand, are a relatively new idea, and the fun clips that you get from them can be inserted into your wedding video and watched for years to come.

Take Dance Lessons

Most weddings involve the bride and groom having their first dance before anyone else is allowed on the dance floor. This is a lovely idea, and looks great on your wedding video, but isn’t very unique, especially if all you and your partner are doing is the waltz or even just swaying side to side. Instead of this, take some dance lessons, and kick it up a notch with a surprising routine. Anything out of the ordinary, like a street dance routine or a tango, is sure to get your wedding remembered.

Your wedding is the day that joins you and your partner together for the rest of your lives, so it’s important to make it special and unique. Hopefully, the tips above will give you some inspiration for your wedding.

Birthdays, engagements, friends reunions and every other big event happening this year deserve an amazing party. You and your friends need to celebrate in style and, if you’re organizing it yourself, you will want to make it the best party ever!

This isn’t going to be any old get together, everything has to be beautifully stylish with a fun twist. It might sound like a lot to ask, but dig out your thinking cap and read on for some clever little tips to make your day that extra bit special!

the carolove How to Organize the Best Party Ever

Pink Party Decorations

The Venue

Finding the perfect venue is all about knowing what your needs will be. If you want to have a meal then obviously the food has to take center stage but if you are looking for more of a drinks and nibbles type of event, the space will make a real difference to the vibe you’re going for.

Make sure that you book way ahead of time. Venues, especially the most popular ones in town, will get booked up quickly. Actually, if you are hosting a Christmas party, you probably should have booked it last year! Give the venue a rough idea of the number of guests and what you are expecting and they will do the rest.

The Transport

If lots of you are going all together, you need to arrive in style. Rather than booking a fleet of cabs, why not consider a party bus? This way you and all your friends can start the party before you’ve even arrived. You can get party bus rentals at Bergen Limo here for up to 50 guests to travel together with music, lights and even reclining seats!

The Decoration

When you get to your venue, it’s always better to arrive with it already decorated specifically for you and your friends with a personal touch. Ask the venue if you can go earlier in the day to add some confetti, dress the chairs and inflate some balloons for later on. You could buy some decorations but if you’re feeling particularly creative, Martha Stewart has lots of ideas for cute designs to fit all themes. If you’re having a themed party, the decoration is your opportunity to go all out – 6ft inflatable palm tree anyone?

The Outfit

If you are having a themed party, you definitely need to give some thought to your outfit! You could go all out and buy something, but there are some crafty ways to accessorise what you already have to make an awesome improvised costume. The best part of any party is getting ready with your girlfriends and trying every possible combination in your wardrobe (and theirs!) so have fun and enjoy experimenting with different combinations together.

Getting together with friends is always going to mean a brilliant night out but when you add those extra details like transport and decoration, it really transforms the evening into something truly special. Once the organization is done, the party can start and you can have fun in style!

It doesn’t matter whether you’re booking a family getaway or heading off traveling alone, there are some things that you can’t forget when you start the planning process. It’s easy to miss something when you have so much to plan and book, so here are a few of the most important things that you absolutely can’t forget.

Passport Cover

Transportation

If you’re traveling abroad, you will need to look at flights. It’s better to book these well in advance, as the prices will sky rocket when the seats start to get filled up. You also need to consider how you’re getting to and from the airport, both in your country, and in your holiday destination. If you are planning on driving to the airport, you will need to book a parking ticket, although it would probably be much cheaper to take a train or get a lift elsewhere. If you’re planning to use public transportation abroad, you might want to book a travel pass for your chosen country, to save yourself some cash.

Accommodation

Although hotels are the most obvious holiday accommodation, they might not be for you. There are plenty of alternatives (many of which are cheaper) that you could use instead. You are sure to find motels and holiday apartments, homes, and cottages wherever you are planning on visiting, but if you wanted something more exciting you could look into booking something more unusual. Unique holiday accommodations, such as tree houses, lighthouses, and camper vans are very popular of late and are sure to offer you more excitement than your usual hotel room.

Insurance

If you’re planning on traveling abroad, you must make sure that you purchase travel insurance. A lot of people decide against booking travel insurance, as they don’t think that anything could go wrong. Although this may be true in many cases, it certainly isn’t for all of them. The last thing you want is for your holiday to be completely ruined by something that could have been helped, had you purchased holiday insurance.

Activities

Many people opt against putting too much planning into their day-to-day activities of their holiday, and much prefer to wing it instead. If all you want to do is visit the beach for a week, then this is completely fine, but if you want to experience the culture of your holiday destination, and see as many landmarks as you can, you will want to put some thought into what you’re doing. If you don’t know, at the very least, what it is that you want to do on your holiday, it’s likely that you’ll do very little. This is both a waste of money and time and will leave you disappointed by your time away.

Hopefully, this will help you a little when it comes to the planning process of your holiday, and stop you from forgetting anything important, or making any mistakes. All that you need to do right now is decide where it is that you actually want to go and visit.

Disney World in Orlando really is one of the most incredible places on earth. Along with the beautiful sunshine, gorgeous scenery and wildlife, you have Disney World- a magical place of dreams for both children and adults alike. The thing about a trip to Disney is that there’s SO much to do, and so to get the best out your vacation some planning is necessary. With many destinations across the world it’s fine to turn up without a plan and see where the trip takes you, but it’s worth being a little more meticulous with this! Here are some of the things to consider in the planning stages.

Disney Travel journal

Decide on a Hotel

Disney are known for their absolutely epic hotels. It’s worth spending a good amount of time looking into all of the different options and seeing what each one has to offer as they’re so much more than just accommodation. There are Disney hotels available for various budgets, but in general, they are all more on the pricey side (with some of the more luxurious hotels costing a pretty penny). If you’re looking to do your trip more on a budget, there are a ton of great hotels along International Drive, although you will have to take a bus each day to get to where the main parks are located.

Book Airport Shuttles/ Transfers

Once you’ve decided on accommodation, your next step is to book a transportation service from the airport to the hotel. After a long flight, the last thing you want is to be messing around with taxis and things so this helps to save you hassle. A shuttle will also be less expensive, and you have peace of mind that you can get to the hotel easily, and then back to the airport at the end of the trip.

Purchase Park Tickets

The reason for visiting Disney is primarily to go to the Disney parks. There are four main parks, The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. There are also two water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. On top of this, there are various other parks and water parks in Orlando, from Discovery Cove and Seaworld to Universal Studios to Wet n Wild waterpark. Depending on your budget and how long you’re visiting for, you might have to make the tough decision between which of these make the cut. Plenty of research again will help you decide which will appeal to you most- although in all fairness you won’t be disappointed with any that you pick.

Decide on Other Things To Do

Along with all of the incredible parks and water parks, Orlando has a ton of other great things to offer too. There are museums, conservation centers, you can even take a day out to visit a beach which is just a short drive away. Plus there are fantastic shops, restaurants, and nightlife to explore, so you’re not short on choice. In fact, the issue is there’s so much to do it’s all about fitting in as much as possible!

You might think the idea of romance and wonder comes built into a wedding. But anyone who has been to a few ceremonies in the past will tell you that the mood can differ substantially. Some weddings really do feel like a legal contract being signed rather than a declaration of love. There’s nothing that makes the ceremony stand out and instead the wedding is completely forgettable. You don’t want that, I’m sure, so how about looking at some of these ideas to add a little romance to your own wedding? If you take this advice, I’m sure you’ll have a splendid ceremony that your guests remember, and you hold dear for years.

Foil Wedding Vow Books

Write Your Own Vows

Don’t settle for the traditional vows on your wedding day. For one thing, they might not have the meaning that you want them to. For another, the vows are an opportunity to tell your partner how you feel, showing your love to them and the world. Don’t let this opportunity slip you buy, even if you are truly awful at public speeches. Remember, it doesn’t have to sound like poetry. It just needs to be heartfelt, and your partner will know that you mean the words. Although you do need to make sure that you both spend some time writing your vows. It can be a little awkward when one delivers an epic delivery of love and the other a post-it note of emotions.

Choose An Epic Location

Don’t get married at city hall if you want your wedding ceremony to feel romantic. Even if you’re not religious, there are plenty of other options that will make your wedding sensational. For instance, you can get married on a beach in Hawaii. With a Hawaii wedding, you can guarantee that your ceremony feels truly special and the environment will give you that sense of romance that you’ve been craving. Just imagine walking along the sand as the waves lap in the distance, towards the love of your life.

Or, how about getting married on a mountainside overlooking a stunning view. Again, this type of setting will make your ceremony romantic and spectacular for your guests. If you want a picture perfect location for your wedding, the trick is finding the right wedding planner. With a wedding planner on your team, you can make sure that you find your dream venue.

Add Unique Touches

If you want your wedding to feel romantic, you need to add some unique touches of your own to the proceeding. For instance, you can abandon the wedding march and instead have your own music playing as you walk down the aisle. If you need inspiration, have a look at this wonderful scene from the classic film, Love Actually.

Or, maybe, you could think about how you’re going to arrive at your wedding. You can opt for a car or limo but why not take it one step further. Rent a horse drawn carriage and feel like a proper princess as you arrive at the venue. It’s the perfect way to start the next chapter of your beautiful, personal fairy-tale.
