Happy Friday!

By the time this post goes live, I will be in Mississippi, probably still asleep because it’s a long drive and we’re driving it. The plan is to see some of Kendall’s family then head to Louisiana to spend time with his sister, her fiance, and the cutest nephew a girl could ask for. I’ll be flying back Monday, and a month later, he comes home to me.

This past Tuesday, some of the Bubbles & Bloggers girls met up to try out Oz Restaurant & Bar. I have a confession: I wanted to try it because the owner is Ashley Darby of Real Housewives of Potomac. Not only was the food tasty (seriously- I’d go back for just the biscuits) and the rose champs flowing, but we actually got to meet Ashley. She’s super sweet and a totally gracious host. Oz is def worth checking out- especially for their Happy Hour!

This week on The CaroLøve:

I love when big business acts responsibly. Good on Adidas for getting serious about making sneakers from ocean waste.

Kevin Lyman, the creator of Warped Tour, is one of my favorite people ever. And I couldn’t agree more with his 10 festival commandments. You don’t have to take my word for it, but this dude knows what he’s talking about.

Never stop creating. This guy is a 79-year-old child at heart, and he’s created the first electricity-free amusement park in the world, complete with roller coasters.

I found a dance studio in Friendship Heights that does beginner hip-hop for adults. I’m not totally a beginner, but I haven’t danced in years. Anyone want to hit up District Groove with me?

I’m a total sunglasses hoarder, and thanks to Sofie, I have a good idea of what I actually need to be looking for as I stockpile them.

I simply love love love love this outfit from Style Unsettled.

It’s almost a year old but how amazing does this recipe from Sweet Sundays for Earl Grey Truffles sound?

Have a great weekend! And don’t forget to follow my travels on Instagram!
