You will probably have some ideas of how you and your partner want to spend Valentine’s day this year, and might have lots of romantic plans to look forward to! But what if you are still struggling to think of a cool date idea? Well, I’ve got you covered! If you still haven’t committed to any plans for February 14th, you might like one of the ideas in the following list.

Ring Shopping

You might want to not plan any special date activities if you suspect that this might be the day your bae will get down on one knee! If they do pop that special question, you will probably want to spend all day ring shopping! But don’t feel disheartened if your partner doesn’t propose this Valentine’s day. You can always go jewelry shopping anyway! Instead of shopping for an engagement, you could just look for some gemstone jewelry.

Cinema Date

There is nowhere better to snuggle up to the love of your life than in a dark cinema while you’re both watching the latest Hollywood blockbuster. In fact, February is the best time of year to go to the cinema as there are a lot of Oscar nominated movies out right now! If you go for an evening showing, you could always grab a bite to eat in your favorite restaurant beforehand. Just remember that you should book a table as it is going to be a very busy night with lots of loved-up couples! It is probably wise to book your cinema tickets in advance as well.

A Spa Day

This year’s Valentine’s day might fall on a Tuesday so you might have to request a day of your annual leave to take advantage of this idea. But it will certainly be worth it! Spending the day at a spa with your boyfriend will be a great way to show each other just how much you love each other. You can relax together with an intimate couple’s massage or simply chill out together in a sauna or the pool. Most spas have an onsite restaurant and bar, so you will have lots of chance to grab a bite to eat and cheers your relationship with a bottle of bubbly!

Cooking Classes

Lots of couples are now looking for cool activities that don’t just involve copious amounts of alcohol. Because of this, cooking classes have proved very popular over the past few years. Some delis and boutique cafes offer cookery classes, most of which focus on certain cuisines and styles of cooking. This is a great chance to spend some quality time with your loved one while also learning a new skill. You never know, this may be the beginning of a new hobby that the two of you may start together! If you start cooking classes now, you will be ready to cook each other an amazing meal by next year’s Valentine’s day!
