I think the hardest part about dressing in the summer is like… what exactly do I wear to work? My off-duty look is my Jacks with an easy dress that may or may not be too short for the office, but during the week I find myself grabbing one of the same 5 law-firm appropriate frocks I have hanging in my closet. I am pretty lucky that my firm is lax about the dress code so I can get away with a lot- like this dress probably wouldn’t fly for a lot of office jobs- but I’m just finding myself a little bored with my work clothes. That fresh blue made me feel awesome, so I’m thinking of incorporating more colors into my summer work wardrobe.

This might come from my general antsy-ness and discontent in the summertime, but regardless, I’m looking for inspiration for my closet. In the interest of being universally appealing, I’m sticking to rules of work wear that I don’t usually follow myself- close-toed shoes, no sleeveless blouses.

Keep in mind, this is for work wear and not necessarily interview wear. I stumbled across an old District Sparkle post, and I think her rules for interview attire ring pretty true!
