I’ve said for years that animal print and camo are both neutrals and therefor can be worn together. (Like, my favorite sneakers!) But make the animal print in one of my most flattering shades of green? This sweater was an automatic winner winner chicken dinner.
I’m not sure how it happened, but I’ve somehow become an Amazon influencer. I’ve been a part of their official Amazon Associate program for a couple of years, and I’ve always been a proponent of shopping their clothes, even before #amazonfashion was a thing! I love to share my favorite finds and the deals I’ve snagged.
But this is different.
You may have noticed that my Instagram has been featuring a lot of gifted for review pieces that I link in my bio. It’s kind of snowballed from (I think) tagging my Instagram pictures strategically with hashtags relating to Amazon.
I’ll get an Instagram message from an Amazon seller asking if I’m interested. Sometime they sent me pictures of what’s available, sometimes I’ll check out their account. If I’m interested in their available items, I’ll order it, review it, and typically get paid back for the item once the review goes live. I say typically because a few companies pay me in advance for the items ordered.
What’s nuts is that I actually turn down more shops than I review. There have been some companies that are a little shady, giving me exact instructions to click on someone else’s item and stay on that page for X amount of time before purchasing from them… I’m not doing all that for a $25 t-shirt. It doesn’t feel honest and it’s not worth my time.
It’s really a win/win for me and the Amazon shops looking for a review. They get my feedback and the confidence of future buyers and I get free clothes.
As with my blog, I’m not going to say I love something if I don’t, but so far I’ve been having so much fun and enjoying my goodies. The sweater featured on this post is one of my favorites! How do you feel about this casual fall look?
