Welcome to The CaroLøve! This is my FIRST POST over here, you guys! I’m so excited!
Just like my decision to finally move over here from Little Bitty City One, my first post just fell into place- which was nice because I wasn’t sure what would be the catalyst to bring me over here. When I was invited to Cera Wax Studio by Angelica, I jumped at the chance to meet some new bloggers and get my eyebrows #onfleek, but I wasn’t counting on the amount of positive energy filling Cera that night. Angelica kept the champagne flowing and between getting our services, we all actually connected. We weren’t just talking blog-shop- we were sharing life experiences, and that was really cool. It really felt like a group of gal pals just getting together at the salon.
Cera is a beautiful, bright space in downtown Bethesda. I had originally signed up for a lash tint and a brow wax, but because I was wearing mascara, I had to take a rain check on the tint. The wax though- Oh my goodness! They use a hard wax, not strips, so it’s just the wax attaching to your brows. I’ve been getting my brows done since middle school, and I have to say that even though I’m used to it, this just genuinely didn’t hurt! And my Esthetician, Melissa, was amazing and very easy to talk to. Maybe it was the champagne, but I blabbed the entire time she was waxing me! And my eyebrows are great! I have nice, thick brows but they tend to get a little unruly. She gave them a bit of a shape and cleaned them up. #onfleek Wait… is anyone even still saying that?
Oh course it was wonderful to meet up with some of my #bubblesandbloggers babes. Sarah, Roxanne, and I met up a little beforehand to shoot outfits. I love seeing our different styles all in the same place, and again, it’s been so amazing how supportive everyone has been of my rebrand.
I’m feeling so incredibly positive about so much right now- The CaroLøve is officially up and running, I have some great gals by my side, and Kendall and I are about to road trip through the south before moving in together. Big things ahead, you guys! Can’t wait to share it all with you!

My skirt came from France, a brand called cop.copine. They’re currently only in the US in San Francisco + Chicago, but hopefully there will be more here soon!
