I don’t typically wear a lot of blue, much less blue on blue, but this has been one of my favorite casual Friday outfits in a long time. The top is from Shoptiques, which I had heard of but never shopped at until my awesome cousin Dionne sent me a certificate for Christmas. The idea behind Shoptiques is pretty awesome-5,000 BOUTIQUES, 2,000 CITIES, 30 COUNTRIES, all in one place! I ended up with the top in this post, a striped dress, and a mini perfume (on major sale!)to keep at my desk. I love the way this top fits- I’m a big fan of the loose peplum look.
The sweater is actually from LuLaRoe. I’ll be honest, I hadn’t heard great things about this brand except from Gentry + one of my coworkers who lives in their leggings. I’d been invited to a couple LuLaRoe parties on Facebook but I never really got it. (Gentry explains how LuLaRoe typically works in her post linked above.) My church does an annual holiday bizarre and there was a LuLaRoe consultant there with a ton of merchandise. I tried on a couple things- the dresses hung (hanged?) really weird on me but I instantly fell in love with this buttery soft kimono/ cardi situation. Seriously one of the softest things I’ve ever owned. I also got a crazy pair of leggings which might not ever make their way on the blog but they are SUPER soft.
2 new (to me) brands that I tried and loved. New year, new shopping- what’s a brand that you’ve discovered recently? I’d love to know!
I want these gold kicks!!!

I kiiind of want to see the leggings now! I’m glad you found a Lularoe piece that works! The sneaks are amazing!
