I tweeted about this a few days ago, but for whatever reason, I find myself dressing more preppy in spring. This started in high school, and I have no idea why. I didn’t even know I was doing it until a friend of mine told me he was glad about it- he wasn’t a huge fan of my band shirt/ tutu combos. But it was true, I did trade in my skinny jeans and skate shoes for Rainbow flip flops + J. Crew shorts. Something about warmer weather made me want to dress more streamlined. In the fall it’s like how many layers can I possibly put into one outfit and then in the spring it’s like ok how can I wear less but still not freeze on the chilly days? I put together my top basics for the season in both splurge + save, and frankly, I like the entire save side better. But the looks are ultimately the same. What do you think?
