Everybody wants to look and feel beautiful. The key is to love yourself, most importantly. You might feel like that’s a cop-out answer, but it’s actually the only answer that makes sense. Looking beautiful is all about feeling comfortable in your own skin. There’s no perfect size, shape, hair color, or any other aesthetic feature; beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And if you don’t feel confident or comfortable about the way you look then you need to think of changes you could make to your own perception of yourself. All that matters is whether or not you can embrace your flaws.

Be confident in public.

Looking and feeling good is all about confidence. The first step is to find a look that makes you stroll out of the door with pride. And it doesn’t have to cost you a fortune to look good either. Not everybody wants to go “au naturale” when they step out of the house, but that’s fine – cosmetic products don’t have to bankrupt you if you know where to buy them. You could get some perfume to help you feel a little more confident at public gatherings and events; smell is as powerful as aesthetic when it comes to feeling attractive. And if you’re asking yourself “how long does perfume last?” then the answer is: a long time. Not only does it have a good shelf life but you only need a small amount any time you use it. One bottle could last you a good few years, so that’s a good example of a cost-effective way to spruce yourself up. At the end of the day, feeling confident in public is down to you. You have to feel comfortable in the way you present yourself, whether that’s in regard to your look or your smell.

Improve your health.

The best way to look and feel more confident about your appearance is to improve your health. We’re not just talking about “getting skinny” here because skinniness isn’t always the epitome of good health – being underweight is just as unhealthy as being overweight, so you need to focus on a more holistic concept of healthiness. It’s not just about improving your physical health but your mental health; the better your mental state, the more confident you’ll feel about the way you look. It’s a self-serving positive cycle. You should fix your diet because the things you consume have the biggest effect on your body and mind. Having a more varied diet with all the carbohydrates, protein, calcium, and iron you need is a good way to balance out your chemicals. You’ll feel better physically and mentally. The path to looking and feeling beautiful is made easier by a healthy lifestyle.

Work on your social circle.

You might not truly realize it, but your friends and family have a big influence on the way you feel about yourself. If you’re not confident about any aspect of yourself, whether it be your appearance or something deeper, then you should have a circle of people to whom you can turn in order to help you out. Likewise, you should get rid of toxic people in your life. Boosting self-confidence is something that you have to do, but the path can be made easier by friends and family who are truly supportive of you, as you are supportive of them.
