Hey y’all! Unfortunately for us, Amanda’s journey with W&W is over. For trendy styles at similar price points, I suggest you take a peek at Lulus!
Last weekend, Bubbles & Bloggers had our July meetup- a shopping tour with Shop The City (more on that in a later post) that ended with the last Whistle & Wild popup before founder Amanda scoots down to Texas in a move that has been a long time coming. While I’m sad to see my friend go, I am SO excited for her journey. You may remember this, but Sarah and I modeled her clothes to help launch Whistle & Wild back late last summer, and the following of Amanda’s online boutique has grown exponentially and nation-wide. There is no question that Amanda is one bad boss and she’ll do great things!
This popup had a little somethin’somethin’ extra though! Marisa was there to help style summer Whistle & Wild pieces for fall. I was so inspired that I wanted to share with my readers some of the great ideas Marisa gave to help transition their own wardrobes. The best part is that I found the pieces I was missing at the #NSale and can share those with you too! These are just a couple of pieces we looked at to move from summer into fall. Make sure you check out everything Whistle & Wild has to offer!
Although the booties that Marisa showed us with this outfit had a little more of a heel, I love love love the perforated look on this Tom’s booties. Put those toes away once the temps drop, ad some sleeves to the slip dress with soft cotton underneath, and add burgundy to the blush to make a great fall outfit!

“Gingham is summer through and through.” This is a gingham rule that I’ve already talked about breaking myself. While Marisa said that leather is still a bit much for early fall, olive utility/ military style jackets are universally flattering. Add a riding boot with a low heel for just a little bit of height. I actually got these exact boots for myself after hearing how long my legs looked with just a bit of heel. At the risk of looking too matchy matchy, I kind of love it with the blue bag too! And I think the boots make it a day or night outfit.
