I met Amanda of Whistle & Wild the same way I’ve honestly met most of my adult life friends: through social media. I was on Instagram, clicking away through relevant hashtags, and I noticed a model call. Before you judge me, the first thing I said to Amanda was that I am in no way a model BUT I did have a blog so why don’t we have a little chat and see if our brands would work well together. I love working with smaller companies, especially local, and it just seemed to make sense.
WELL- Amanda set up a little coffee date for us and I knew from the moment I saw her that we would click. We were both wearing rose gold sunnies and backpacks, plus she talked me down when I had a full blown panic attack about leaving my wallet in my Uber. A couple hours and a found wallet later, Amanda and I had formed a partnership and a friendship. You’ve seen Whistle & Wild on my blog, most recently here, but you may have also noticed we run in the same DC style circle. I love love love seeing her at events, repping her amazing boutique and looking flawless (always. seriously.) You can learn more about Whistle & Wild here, but what you need to know is that it’s woman owned and curated by Amanda for a wide variety of styles.
Also, Amanda, we need to have a chat about some of your answers because I want to know more! Thank you for being my woman crush this Wednesday!
