San Francisco is one of the most fun, beautiful, and diverse cities in the whole world. Which means for residents that there are likely to be a lot of people that will come to visit and there can be tourists everywhere. There are so many things in the city; you could have an itinerary chock full of things to do; there are things for everyone to see and do. So to help, here are some of the top things that you can do in San Francisco, so that you can see the best of the city and have a really great time doing so.

The Ferry Building
The Ferry Building is a pretty stunning piece of architecture, but one of the top things about it is that there is a whole host of tasty artisan food. You can try some oysters, get some chocolate from Dandelion, eat some cheese from the Cowgirl Creamery, as well as enjoy a burger or tacos. There are some great drinks to enjoy too, so it is a must for foodies.
Fort Point
There is the walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, which is a great choice for San Francisco. But there are some other great places to walk to as well, like heading over to Crissy Field and then walking along the promenade until you get to a fort near to the Golden Gate Bridge. It is a pretty stunning walk, and it can be a good place to take photos, with surfers underneath.
Museums
The weather in San Francisco is a little unlike other parts of California, as it can be a little bit unpredictable. So when the weather turns a little cool, windy, or rainy, then it can be a good idea to go to one of the city’s museums. There is one San Francisco museum which is all about an upside down house, which is full of illusions, so can be a good choice if you’re looking for something a little different.
Sea Lions at Fisherman’s Wharf
Tourists want to do a lot of the typical touristy things, and one of the top choices is Fisherman’s Wharf. There are quite a few things to do down there, and there are some sea lions that you can see hanging out on the dock. It is a great spot to grab some clam chowder in a bread bowl which is really typical for the city. You could even see the World Famous Bushman who can jump out and scare you.
Hiking at Lands End
The Lands End Trail is great for hiking, as it is a pretty mellow walk, and looks great. It is a pretty easy way to see lots of the city and appreciate the beauty of it all, as well as seeing the coastal terrain. There are also some great hidden treasures to see like the octagon house. For tourists and families it is a great choice, as it is an urban hike, so makes it a great choice as it is pretty chilled out.
