For the past many years, I have loved throwing on a statement necklace as an outfit finisher. Maybe it’s because I’m trying to simplify everything in my life, but I’ve started gravitating towards more delicate pieces. I actually got a couple really pretty little pieces for my birthday-a rose gold Caro from my mom and a personalized Pisces piece from Sarah.
I feel like these are the best outfit finishers. I actually have been finding myself wearing more jewlery, but more simple jewelry. A gold ring that belonged to my Aunt Sue, simple hoops, and a pretty, delicate choker.
This is also a summer thing. I have super sensitive skin and if I’m sweating while wearing one of my bigass sparkly pieces, my neck will break out. (Anyone else?) It’s not like I’m perminently poo-pooing my statement collection, but I’ve liked switching it up a little bit.
