I was so incredibly honored (but not horribly surprised) when my best friend, my Wifey, asked me to be her Maid Of Honor. The bride to be, Casey, is a planner by nature and sometimes profession, so while I got some inspiration from her with this picture, it was fun to plan without any of her help. Case- love you, mean it, purposely ignored the pinterest board you made for your own shower. 😉 The wedding is going to be gorgeous- but I wanted to go kind of opposite of her clean + crisp aesthetic for the shower. I ended up just calling it “color explosion.” She’s a bit of a sweet-tooth, so I had to have cupcakes + candy. My mom found the adorable macaron lippies and also purchased the flowers. She actually used the invitations as inspo. The groom helped me a design a special cocktail for the bride and even sent her a surprise to open that day. All of the decor + some of the favors came from Etsy– the shops are all linked below, the items where available!
Despite the snow that day, the shower was sunny and warm and so lovely. The bride was happy, and that’s really all that mattered.
