With Easter just around the corner we find ourselves sandwiched between the winter holiday and the summer break. It can be a drab time of year. The weather starts to dampen and although the sun is beginning to break through, it still isn’t quite warm enough to bring us out of our hibernation days. So, it’s a pretty perfect time to grab up a last minute break. Either to get us ready for the summer, or to say a fond farewell to the snowy season. If you are going to be sad to see the last of the falling snow then why not take advantage of some last minute ski deals. Officially the ski season ends in April, depending on where you are heading, although the quality of snow can be a little touch and go. Luckily for you that means there are some amazing offers at this time of year. With flights a little cheaper and in some resorts, ski passes offered at a late season discount, you could up the quality of your accommodation and stay somewhere like Chalet Foinsbois Meribel Village. If the skiing isn’t up to it’s mid season best, you’ll probably be distracted by the gorgeous glamour of this beautiful chalet. This end of the season is also a fantastic time to get to grips with skiing if you have never been before. It can be an expensive holiday, so heading out end of season will save you a little bit of money whilst you get your ski legs.
The Once In A Lifetime Break
Most of us dream of spending a couple of weeks on a sandy beach, the sun on our faces and a cocktail in hand. However the price of a trip like this can be too much, especially if you are heading out with a family. However, this is a perfect time to bag yourself a Caribbean getaway. Hotel rates in April are lower than in March because the temp is warming up across the USA and southern Europe. Easter falls on the 16th of April which puts you right in Spring Break season, so you might want to avoid Cancun if you are looking for a little peace and quiet. With good savings on flights and hotels, you could stay somewhere stunning and take advantage of one of the all inclusive breaks. On the northern shore of Jamaica to the east of Montego Bay you’ll find the popular cruise port and resort area of Ocho Rios. A fabulous place to spend your ultimate location.
\Take a little time to research the weather and tourism in some of your bucket list countries as March and April tend to be the best months for last minute deals. You may want to avoid south asia though, it is the hottest most humid time of the year there and you are better waiting until the start of autumn to really enjoy this part of the world.
