Back when I was shooting with Nicole, I lost my SD card with a shoot on it that then never made it to the blog. Somehow, it resurfaced when Kendall and I moved. I hadn’t given it a lot of thought until I lost ANOTHER SD card (those tiny little suckers!), ordered a new one with a mini, then Kendall needed the mini for our GoPro. So I stuck in the SD card I found, complete with my Taylor Swift concert outfit from two summers ago.
So much has changed in the past 2 years- I moved out of my first apartment and into a new one with a boy. I got engaged. My blog has changed and grown immensely. I was witness to some of my best and oldest friends getting married. I’ve made amazing new friends, fallen out of touch with others, acquired more self-confidence than I’ve ever known, and finally feel as settled as I’m going to be as a millennial in kind of a crazy time.
But so many things have also naht changed. I still get panic attacks, but I know how to deal with them and surround myself with people who help me through them, whether they know it or not. I refuse to give up my quirky and somewhat juvenile style, I’ll rock the hell out of my sneaker wedges, and I’m still obsessed with weddings. I still don’t love my job, but I’m going to keep working my ass off and giving it my all (and interviewing elsewhere when something interesting comes up).
Think back over your last two years- what has changed for you? What hasn’t? I’d love to know in the comments!
