Besides staying home longer than planned to move back to DC next year completely debt free, woohoo!, I think it would also be pretty silly to move back to an apartment, by myself, to a city where things are not consistently open, and where my office building has started seeing COVID cases again. I’m pretty cozy working from the home I grew up in with my awesome parents. There’s not even a level of embarrassment anymore because I know so many people my age who have moved back home for one reason or another.
As I’m typing this, I’m in my “office” (Candace’s room) with a nice cup of green tea and a candle burning. I saw a tweet asking, “what do you do to make your home cozy?” Since it looks like we’re all going to be spending a lot of time in our homes this winter, we should be making our homes into places we want to spend a lot of time in.
I did an informal poll on Instagram, and even though my personal aesthetic is pretty punchy with color, most of you said that neutrals made you feel the most cozy, so I picked some pieces for you to snuggle in with.
