Kidd is mine and my husband’s foster pup. His story brings me to tears every single time.
Down in Texas, Kidd was chosen to be part of a new method of euthanasia. He was being walked back to the the room to be murdered when TRU Rescue stepped in and saved his life.
Once he was rescued, he was diagnosed with heartworm, an entropian eye (inverted eyelid), puncture wounds to his legs, and a torn ACL.
So far, Kidd has had eye surgery, his wounds have healed, and his heartworm has been cured, but he still needs ACL surgery. You don’t know how heartbreaking it is to watch a four legged dog hop around on three legs until you watch it day after day.
Kidd is in pain, hopping on three legs, but you’d have no clue. He gives THE sweetest kisses, warm snuggles, and the cutest puppy dog eyes.
This boy’s heart couldn’t be bigger and our love for him couldn’t be stronger.
Please consider donating to help us raise money for this expensive knee surgery for our foster babe. ANYTHING, even sharing this campaign, would be appreciated.
Love,
Aaron, Alyssa, and Kidd.
My family has always had rescue animals- we’re up to five kitties who have been adopted, not shopped. I think all foster fams are angels, preparing the most vulnerable babes for their furrever homes. Alyssa loves leopard (probably even more than I do!) so when she asked me to come up with a design to go along with their fundraising campaign, it didn’t take me too long to come up with the leopard paw.
I’m going to match the profits from my Zazzle sales for Kidd, but if you want to donate, you can do so directly right here.
