I think we’ve all decided that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a bit of a racket with how they stagger how who is allowed to shop and when. Mega influencers get to shop it first, meaning that a lot of the clothes I added to my wish list were just GONE by the time I was able to go get them. I mean, this is fine because I don’t need anything anyway, but I was dissapointed. I ended up keeping a couple of things, but most of it went back in the box to be returned because it fit awkwardly.
Where I will say the sale is excelling, with a lot left, is their home section. This summer has been gogogo, and I’m already looking forward to settling down a little bit come September. I’m out of town almost every weekend in August, and while I’m excited to see some people that I love very much, I’m already a little tired thinking about it. It’ll be nice to come back to this space that I love and, franky, treasure.
Someone recently described my apartment as my “little slice of peace,” and that is the perfect description. It’s all come together so perfectly, even as it’s evolved from what was orignally in my head. I’ve realized that the color that has tied everything together is teal/aqua. I have accents of it in my orangy dining room, my navy-y living room, and my blush bedroom. I find it super soothing. And everything is velvet and or fuzzy. Soft, soothing, sweet. The blanket featured in this post is currently on my lap as I spend this lazy Sunday putting together this blog post. Throwing out a little peaceful inspo for other snuggly humans who love their space.
What did you think of the Nordstrom anniversary sale this year, home or otherwise?
