This post was supposed to go live a week ago, but Mercury in retrograde had other plans. On top of my classes started to wrap up with final projects etc., and a crazy work week, I ran into a MAJOR issue with my blog.
I kind of explained it on my stories, but someone reported a post of mine from 2017 for copywright infringement, leading to my blog being deactivated. I always source my photos that I share, and most of the time they’re from Etsy shops and linked as such to share small businesses. Unfortunatly, a product that I linked was actually ripped off from an artist. Now, I’ll be totally honest that I don’t get it. As this post was from 2017 and the product was liscensed to Hot Topic, I doubt that product is even being sold anymore. On top of that, the Etsy shop I had linked was fully removed before I even went to get rid of the picture. I deleted the picture, and then the whole post, and then the files on the back end thinking that would fix my issue. Unfortunately, the images were cached and my solutions didn’t completely wipe.
I have no idea what I’m even talking about but, ultimately, after several chats with the BlueHost IT guys and WordPress, the issue was fixed and I got my blog back.
So here I am, sharing my thoughts and things I love. Can’t get rid of me that easily. Currently craving comfy sweaters the color of leaves and the sun on October mornings. I do better with the rusty tones rather than the yellow ones, but I do love those last two, even if I don’t think they’d be super flattering on me.
