The title of this post pretty much says it all. I freakin’ love Amazon. I was buying clothes on Amazon years before #amazonfashion became a thing. Subscribe and save? That’s my JAM! (Although I do get annoyed when they send all of my items in separate packages.) But it’s so nice to be like, “I need a thing. I know where I can find the thing!” And then the thing arrives so quickly!
We all know that right now there’s a supply chain issue for certain household items that normally are just a click away (looking at you Clorox wipes!) and this post isn’t about that. No, this post is about the little bits I’ve snagged from Amazon almost on a whim that have made my life easier.
Tee Shirt Clips
Being busty but with a smaller waist is a complicated line to cross. I had taken to tying my t-shirts in knots to give me a shape that I should be rocking, but I know it’s stretched a couple of my tees. Enter a shirt clip. It gives the same look as a knotted tee but is much easier on the fabric.
Catch All Acrylic Jewelry Tray
I love my bathroom at my parents’ house. I call it my 2000s spa because I actually redid it when I was in 10th grade. It has sponge-painted daisy wallpaper in pastel colors and pink fluffy towels. But since I am here full-time with more products than I was using back then, my vanity top was cluttered and driving me nuts. I ended up getting this little tray for under $10 and WOO what a difference it made!
Ergonomic Keyboard Wrist Rest Pad and Mouse Pad Wrist
This one’s pretty self-explanatory. Dolling up my home office with cute ergonomic accessories was a great choice. This particular set comes in 12 designs, but the cacti matched the colors in Candace’s room, which I have made my office/sitting room/blog HQ for the time being.
Waterproof Face Spin Brush with 7 Brush Heads
I had a face brush that I think got misplaced between apartments and they’re nice but, honestly, not life-changing, so I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on it. I like that this one has seven heads, but I’ve only used the long bristles and the pumice stone. For the price, it’s a nifty little gadget!
Lockable Pump Dispensers
I’m very particular about how much product I use. I prefer pumps to squeeze bottles so I can use the same amount of product every time. I got a set of two pump bottles for my makeup remover and toner. My caps are different color, but you can easily dab a nail polish color on the top of each to distinguish.
Plastic Divided Makeup Organizer
Full disclosure, the exact palettes holder I have is sold out, but this is about the same size as mine. I love love love my Colourpop palettes, and I have them nicely where I can see and use them but without cluttering my counter space.
Selfie Stick Tripod with Wireless Remote
This little gadget has been so much fun for making #quarantinecontent for Instagram! I even lost the remote but I just use my phone timer. I’m annoyed that it’s taken me to long to use it regularly, but it’s wonderful. My only issue is that my iPhone 11 is a little heavy for the tripod so it takes some finagling. I can still make it work!
Medication HolderÂ
I’ve been so good about taking my vitamins and this vitamin holder makes a lot more sense for me than one of those traditions days of the week holders since some of them are large. All of my vitamins are different colors/sizes so it’s easy to distinguish and make sure I don’t take one twice.
Hanging Toiletry Bag
This is the best toiletry bag I have ever owned and here’s why: the hanging function, the roominess, and the plastic pocket on top. I put my shimmering glow oil up there so if it leaks it’s protected.
Beach Towel Clips
Years ago, I got my mom clips for her pool towel as an incidental Mother’s Day gift and they’re truly a game changer. Hers are fancy- I think they look like toucans? But this pack does the same job of keeping towels in place on pool chairs.
Phone Holder
Big phone problems AGAIN but I’ve had to go back to using a pop socket. When I had the 8, this little holder was a great alternative and was wonderful to prop my phone as a little tv while traveling.
