Ringwald revisited

There’s something about this bloussant dress from Loft that makes me feel like Molly Ringwald in Sixteen Candles. I think maybe it’s the fit of the top reminds me of this particular look of hers, but regardless I now call this my Ringwald dress. I also referred to it as my lazy dress up until I added the heeled sandals and pearl necklace. I got so many compliments once I actually styled this dress that I’ve been inspired to really keep hunting for other soft, cottony t shirt dresses. I could honestly live in them- and they’re pretty perfect for seasonal transitioning too. Tights, booties, and a leather jacket could easily take this whole look into cooler temps.
