I’ve been itching to bring you new content this week as I’ve been trying v hard to be a better blogger since the wedding but a) I wasn’t feeling very inspired and b) I left my computer charger in Laytonsville. But then yesterday at work, inspiration struck.
A little while back, my friend Cris told me that she loved my save vs. splurge posts. I hadn’t really been window-shopping the web as much as usual because I got my shopping fix with the wedding. But now I’m back in business and want to bring you some of the hottest trends for spring in two price points.
Since I’ve noticed that I have very little red in my wardrobe, I’ve wanted to add more! I actually already picked up a little dress from Amazon for my family’s annual 3rd of July celebration and it’s sold out in red gingham so I’m glad I did! The picks below may not be exactly the same style but a little bit of ruffle, a lot a bit of gingham and you get the idea.
Red heart sunnies are a favorite of mine, and with crazier and crazier sunglasses silhouettes hitting the scene (what are thoooooose?!), I don’t see these going anywhere any time fast. Same with tassel earrings!
Straw bags are back as a summer staple and the knot slides are the new kids on the block. Ashlee posted a similar pair here and I went on a search for my own! They’re kind of like a more feminine answer to Birkenstocks, no? The “splurge” pair from this post is actually on my wish list in rose gold. At under $100, they’re still a pretty good deal!
