I know that summer is still technically about another month from ending, but my with school having started for me and my mom, my summer plans winding down, and Labor Day right around the corner, it feels like it’s wrapping up!
My first summer back in DC has been amazing. I love my apartment, I love being physically closer to my bests, and I just feel like I’m in a really solid place right now. Work, I think for everyone, has been weird the past year and a half, but my sweet boss invited my mom and me me to her daughter’s baby shower this past weekend and she was singing my praises in a way that felt like even more than I deserved. I’m drinking my water, doing my skincare, and generally taking care of myself and mine.
When I first moved in, I was documenting a lot more on the ‘gram, mostly as I set up my home. I haven’t really been doing that recently, posting about once a week to the grid with whatever big fun thing I did over the weekend. But I’m here and I’m thriving.
