Happy Friday!
Kendall and I are psyched for this weekend because WE’RE GETTING A NEW CAR! I have to give a massive shout out to Carvana + Geico for making the whole process ridiculously easy. Seriously- it’s like GrubHub for cars. Kendall’s “Tuxxy” mobile has been a great little vehicle but it’s been driven pretty much into the ground. My little Barbie car PT Cruiser, Brianna, will continue living her life mostly in Laytonsville as a spare car, and it’ll be fun having our new car together!

What I bought & what I want
My Auntie Steph told me that with my hair red now, I can wear different colors than I could as a blonde. I’m discovering that I actually quite enjoy being an “autumn” and mustard/ ginger (one of the MANY colors this sweater comes in) actually works for me now.
I’ve had this discussion with my friend Ally so many times. I have no idea why we were all so obsessed with hoodies in college because crew neck sweatshirts + quarter zips are clearly where it’s at.
I have a similar version of this dress in black from Loft and it’s so comfy! The pink is a bit much but the green, burgundy, and purple are all very pretty!
Don’t forget you can always peek at my wish list over in my sidebar. Here’s what I’m currently craving:
Around the internet
I absolutely love that Payless opened a fake luxury store and convinced influencers to pay $600 for $20 footwear! A seriously awesome prank that really makes one think about rampant consumerism. Funnily enough, Kendall and I just watched a Good Mythical Morning episode where we both had a hard time playing their Payless Vs. Designer Shoes game as well. via Insider
Although it’s been open for quite some time now, I just learned that Kazi Mannan, owner of Sakina Halal Grill, feeds the homeless of DC for free! I love what he says here: “I like to believe that when I’m giving to the poor and hungry, God sees that. Just the act of giving a smile to someone can be a blessing. Just think about what food has the power to do.” via Eater Washington DC

I try to remember to take my vitamins + probiotic every day, but sometimes your system needs a little extra help, especially during cold and flu season. Enter 4 Easy Natural Ways to Boost Your Immune System This Winter. via Camille Styles Hint: Probiotics are one of the ways. I personally take Swanson Dr. Stephen Langer’s Ultimate 16 Strain Probiotic + the Women’s Multivitamin from Brandless.
We’re not going far this Christmas- just to Laytonsville- but 6 Tips for Surviving a Holiday Flight really ring true for me about any time I hit the airport. I get really bad panic attacks, especially going through security when everyone is rushing to take shoes off, etc., so I like to be early + organized. via Damsel in Dior
