Thanksgiving outfit inspo

I rode the bus into work with my friend Sarah on Monday and although I already kind of knew this, I was shocked when she said that Thanksgiving is next week. Holy cow, you guys! This year totally blew by!

My parents host Thanksgiving, and our doors are always open to whoever wants to come by. My dad does most of the cooking, but the meal wouldn’t be complete without my mom’s sweet potato pudding. I typically bring an app or dessert. It’s a cozy day to catch up with some of our closest friends and family. Last year, we left right after dinner to drive to Louisiana for a wedding, and I’m excited that this year we do naht have to drive through the night after a big meal.

I’ve seen this meme floating around Instagram that totally cracks me up:  It’s so true! Like, nobody is going anywhere, it’s all people who have probably seen you in your jammies, and you’re about to eat a meal that scientifically will make you sleepy. At the end of the day though, Thanksgiving is just like any house party. You want to look and feel your best.
