Some of us go on vacation to relax, while others prefer to seek adventure, if you’re a thrill seeking type the USA has lots to offer. To help you plan your next epic trip let’s take a look at four top destinations in the USA.

1 . Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park welcomes millions of visitors every year, hikers can explore trails through Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, experiencing sights such as Mammoth Hot Springs and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Visitors can also try activities like kayaking, snowmobiling, or horseback riding. ‘Old Faithful ‘is one of the must-see natural wonders at Yellowstone. It’s an active geyster, erupting approximately every 30 and 90 minutes. You’ll be blown away by the crystal clear lakes, epic peaks and lush forests. Yellowstone National Park is a magnificent natural beauty spot, and there are plenty of gorgeous places to set up camp.
- Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is located on the California-Nevada border, up here there are plenty of great skiing spots, or you might try boating, canoeing or kayaking. Other fun activities on offer include golf, hiking and parasailing. When you’re visiting Lake Tahoe, be sure to check out Emerald Bay State Park, you’ll be blown away by these towering trees, granite cliffs and glorious panoramic views.
Alpine skiing is incredibly popular at Lake Tahoe, according to Planetware Squaw Valley is one of the best skiing resorts, also the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. If you’re looking for a seriously beautiful place to visit in 2022, Lake Tahoe is a great shout.
- Maui
Maui is a fantastic destination for adventurous activities, whether you’re looking to try sea kayaking or volcano hiking. If you’d like to try snorkelling, the best place to go is Molokini Crater, you can take a boat here from the South of Maui. Here you’ll find some stunning coral formations, and many different types of fish. If you take a boat trip to Molokni you’ll probably get to visit Turtle Town along the way. Turtle Town is well known as one of the best places to go snorkeling in Maui.
- West Virginia
If you’re looking for a great place to go white-water rafting, be sure to head on down to West Virginia. One of the best places for rafting is the Gauley River, it’s about 105 miles long, eventually becoming part of New River, and forming Kanawha River. If you’re a thrill seeker there’s nothing quite like a white-water rafting trip to get the blood pumping.
