It’s kind of amazing the way that social media can connect people now. I was busy liking away on instagram one morning when I discovered Whistle & Wild. Being obsessed with local brands, especially women-run local brands, I connected with Amanda, the brains and beauty behind Whistle & Wild. We immediately hit it off and Sarah and I are lucky enough to be able to introduce the brand to our readers before they even launch!
The idea behind Whistle & Wild is simple- think Free People but at a much more inclusive price point and a more exclusive collection. From their Facebook page:

Established in January 2016, Whistle & Wild started as just an idea on paper—a New Years resolution if you will. Owner & Founder Amanda believed she was just on the threshold of something amazing, and with the support of her husband, she made the plunge into entrepreneurship. This company was born on nothing more than a dream and inspired from a love for constant personal growth. Amanda believes strongly in the power of individualism & is committed to bringing something to everyone regardless of his or her walk of life.
