I think my favorite part of Breakfast at Tiffany’s is the line I quoted in my post The CaroLøve x Crumbs & Whiskers: The only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then – then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name!
Sometimes it’s nice to be surrounded by pretty things, just for the heck of it. This place for me used to be the hall of First Ladies, but Last week, I myself got the mean reds, and not enough time to get there. I had a day at work that was just not what I wanted it to be and I took a quick ten to run to the Kate Spade at City Center instead. I was greeted, tear stained face and all, by the sweetest employees- and actually I was offered part time job. But the best part was actually finding the bag I’ve wanted all summer more than half off the original price. No brainer. Treat yo self. I wore this outfit the following day, felt a lot better about work, and embraced the sour that come with the sweet. Like a grapefruit.
