This post was sponsored by VIIcode and I received free product for review. As always, opinions are my own!

Aside from the skin woes I mentioned yesterday, I have been way better over the past few years about preventative care for my fair skin. SPF is a must, as well as a moisturizer. But I’ve been neglecting my eyes! That is until VIIcode reached out to me asking if I would like to try their oxygen eye cream. And now I’m wondering why I left my eyes alone for so long when I can get what feels like a spa treatment right at home, especially if you try to turn your beauty routine into a ritual, like I do!

Make sure to start with a clean face, then gently massage your under eye with the crescent activation strip. Honestly, I was tempted to skip this step, but whether this was psychosomatic or not, I really did feel like the cells under my eyes were coming alive! It’s sometimes good to follow instructions, no?

After the little message, just dab a tiny bit of the VIIcode T2 Oxygen Eye Cream (VII pronounced ‘vee two’) under your eyes. Oh my goodness it smelled and felt so good from first opening. The cream has no greasy feeling to it, but a nice thickness. It makes sense that it smells so good because of the key ingredients:

  • Elderberries: Antioxidant content maintains the skin cells, leaving you with glowing, younger skin
  • Jojoba Oil: Not only firms and keeps your skin hydrated, but also useful in lessening the appearance of skin wrinkles. Rich in antioxidants, which help regenerate the skin cells.
  • Evening Primrose: Boosts blood circulation, which is helpful to treat tired skin and eyes and is especially effective in removing wrinkles.

VIIcode T2 Oxygen Eye Cream c/o

Using this stuff is literally giving your skin the royal treatment. Apparently, Napoleon Bonaparte’s wife, Josephine, is said to have used this same luxurious formula, developed more than 250 years ago.

History lesson aside, I fully endorse this eye cream. While I’m not seeing a significant difference in dark circles per say, my very sensitive eyes love the stuff, and they feel brighter and tighter. I’m tempted to use it all over my face, but I want to treasure my little bottle of VIIcode T2 Oxygen Eye Cream and make it last.

When you’ve never ventured to a place before, it can be hard to know where to find the most luxurious spots. There has been a rise in sites like TripAdvisor popping up in order to put our minds at rest and guide us to where we need to be going depending on our preferences, budget and lifestyle choices, but for those who want a little bit more, it can be hard to expand your knowledge – especially if the hidden luxuries are in places that most people don’t tend to travel to.

Serengeti Lion

In The Animals

There’s a lot of color that Africa has to offer, with the majority of it being in the hoards of different species of animal that reside on the continent. Safaris are available for you to be able to witness it, whether you want to be up in the air with the birds within a hot air balloon, or down in the swamps with the crocodiles on a boat (don’t worry – you’ll be safe!). A lot of people find comfort in the little luxuries that the natural world has to offer, and none more so in Big 5 game viewing and luxurious accommodation to boot. A lot of safari trips offer great retreats for you to go back to after a hard day spotting all of your favorite animals, and they certainly don’t disappoint if you do your research into them. The season that you go in depends on just what animals you will see; there are different breeding seasons for different animals, so it’s a good idea to pick your favorite or the one that you most wish to catch a glimpse of when they’re tiny and go with that. A great tour guide will be able to take you to just the spots that you need to go in order to see them.

Piri Piri Seasoning – World Spice Blends

In The Food

Where else can you get little tinges of delight but in the food that you are eating? Different countries within Africa have their different cuisines, but as the original home of Piri Piri that is taking the world by storm currently, there is no better place to go to sample the spicy treats than on the continent. Luxurious cooking has been brought along by having to adapt to what’s around them, and you’ll find yourself eating rich, hearty meals prepared by those who have spent decades learning traditions that have been passed through the generations – definitely something to look forward to.

In The Accommodation

As well as the aforementioned safari accommodation, there are definitely other things which can pique your interest in terms of where you’re staying. Whether you want to hang out in the rain forest for a couple of days, relax in a fancy hotel or camp underneath the stars – whatever your definition of luxury  is definitely comes into play here. Don’t be afraid to have a look around online and get recommendations on where best to go. It’s dependent upon the reviews of others whether these places are still getting trade, so it’s best to have a good search and settle on something that ticks all of your boxes.

Dubai is becoming one of the most favorite holiday destination for people all over the world, but especially for affluent Westerners who want sun, sand, culture, and relaxation. Where you are planning a family holiday, a honeymoon or just a dream destination that you’ve been saving up for, Dubai knows no equal. Of course, it must compete with the attractions of similar, sunbathed cities, so there are many bars, clubs, restaurants and performance shows. But truthfully, the city was designed from the first brick that was layed, to be a getaway experience of pure luxury. No other place in the world comes close because here, you can eat a caviar breakfast, enjoy a back massage, go jet skiing, dine at a 5-star restaurant and enjoy a hand and face massage by the pool; all in one day. There are so many things on offer; it would be foolish to even try to list them. However, here’s a taste of what you may find to your liking.

Burj Khalifa Tower

Facial massage

As part of the range of bespoke Dubai spas available to members, an intricate, supple and subduing 45-minute facial massage awaits those who want it. The Sofitel Dubai Hotel, offering nothing but the best in luxury and elegance, embellishes customers with an alluring 1-house Polynesian massage or an adventurous Bamboo Fusion massage for an hour and a half. The spa has an infinity pool with natural light coming from the lavender aroma candles. Immerse yourself totally in the experience with Ayurvedic healing practices and scientifically approved contemporary healing techniques. The journey isn’t complete until your body is expunged all off impurities by the steam and sauna rooms.

One for the ladies

Schedule an escape to the tranquil surrounds of the Desert Palm Hotel spa, where you’ll be pampered like a movie star with treatments in the state of the art Lime Spa. With a backdrop of exuberant green polo fields, you’ll be shown the true meaning of relaxation. The spa begins with your therapist discussing what you’d like. The most popular technique of breaking the ice is to have an innovating massage that seeks out knots, aches, and tension and looks to melt them away. Inspired by Swedish, Thai, Japanese and Balinese healing techniques, the masseuse is trained in deep penetrating massage strokes, as well as waking up your nerves and ligaments with the mysterious art of reflexology. If you want to truly soften up your limbs and joints, try the hot stone treatment, which increases blood flow to certain areas and demands the body’s immune system to rejuvenate.

Skin scrubs

At the 5-star establishment of Kempinski Hotel Ajman, awaits you skin enhancing treatment that you won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Inspired by a fusion of cultures, from Thailand, Europe, and the Middle East, you’ll receive the Ajman Sunrise Ritual. The experience takes on a holistic approach to your well-being, and commencing with a 20-minute body scrub; your body will be infused with natural ingredients that purge toxins and give life to new skin cells. Next, you’ll be wrapped in green tea leaves for 90 minutes before another 40-minute treatment to brighten your skin and remove any marks, spots, cut, grazes and bruises.

You might have the white dress and the flowers all organized but what about finding the perfect honeymoon for your relationship? Most couples struggle when it comes to deciding where they should spend their first holiday after their wedding day. It is a tricky decision to take, as this is a holiday that has a huge cultural importance. Some even say that it completely defines how your marriage will be. Others speak of a symbolic importance only. Whatever you believe about it, there is a simple rule to follow about your honeymoon: It should match your personality. If you are not too sure what type of personality you have or how it could impact your honeymoon decision, have a look at a brilliant honeymoon quiz on https://destination-wedding-experts.com/honeymoon-quiz/. This takes a lot of your questions while giving you some precious ideas. It, however, doesn’t hold the key to the perfect honeymoon!

A Luxury Honeymoon

If you believe that your honeymoon is the time for self-indulgence, you may be looking for a luxury holiday. This could include reserving the newlywed suite and making sure that the hotel you pick fulfills all the necessary beauty spa requirements – yes, that includes a massage too. Do make sure that you are traveling in style if you need to travel, even if it is only from the airport to the hotel. After all, this is only once in a lifetime, so don’t hesitate to hire a limo service if you can. This beats public coaches anytime. Finally, ensure that you book in romantic, quality restaurants once you’re there. The best way to find them is to look for the closest Michelin recommendations or Michelin stars. If you can’t find any, ask at the hotel reception if they can recommend a place for you. After all, a honeymoon deserves only the very best.

An Adventurous Honeymoon

If you want to make the most of your honeymoon to start a new adventure together, then you should be looking for holiday packages that take you through stunning landscapes and extraordinary cultures, such as https://serendivus.com/sri-lanka-holiday-tour-packages/ in Sri Lanka. You could explore new horizons and see amazing wildlife like you’ve never seen it before. More importantly, you will be creating memories that will stay with you forever. For adventurous honeymoons, have a look at exciting activities in lesser known regions. However, do stay away from geographically remote locations, as these require a lot of attention to details to ensure that you will stay safe. Honeymoons are not renowned for being the time to be organized and cautious: They are a time of celebration.

A Blissfully Romantic Honeymoon

Finally, if you prefer a romantic getaway for the two of you during the first days of your marriage, you could look at cottage holidays to find your dream destinations. From hiring your private island for the two of you to finding an alpine cottage with a jacuzzi hidden in between the trees, there is something for every style. More importantly, there is somewhere a place for the two of you to take your first steps into the married life away from indiscreet eyes and everyday stress. There is no personal masseur, but there is a lot of love and a lot of time for both of you to enjoy your new life. After all, isn’t it what a honeymoon is about?

With Easter just around the corner we find ourselves sandwiched between the winter holiday and the summer break.  It can be a drab time of year.  The weather starts to dampen and although the sun is beginning to break through, it still isn’t quite warm enough to bring us out of our hibernation days.  So, it’s a pretty perfect time to grab up a last minute break.  Either to get us ready for the summer, or to say a fond farewell to the snowy season.  Here are a couple of last minute trips which will inspire you!

Oh the Places You’ll Go Map

A Little Luxury In Meribel

If you are going to be sad to see the last of the falling snow then why not take advantage of some last minute ski deals.  Officially the ski season ends in April, depending on where you are heading, although the quality of snow can be a little touch and go.  Luckily for you that means there are some amazing offers at this time of year.  With flights a little cheaper and in some resorts, ski passes offered at a late season discount, you could up the quality of your accommodation and stay somewhere like Chalet Foinsbois Meribel Village.  If the skiing isn’t up to it’s mid season best, you’ll probably be distracted by the gorgeous glamour of this beautiful chalet.   This end of the season is also a fantastic time to get to grips with skiing if you have never been before.  It can be an expensive holiday, so heading out end of season will save you a little bit of money whilst you get your ski legs.

The Once In A Lifetime Break

Most of us dream of spending a couple of weeks on a sandy beach, the sun on our faces and a cocktail in hand.  However the price of a trip like this can be too much, especially if you are heading out with a family.  However, this is a perfect time to bag yourself a Caribbean getaway.  Hotel rates in April are lower than in March because the temp is warming up across the USA and southern Europe.  Easter falls on the 16th of April which puts you right in Spring Break season, so you might want to avoid Cancun if you are looking for a little peace and quiet.  With good savings on flights and hotels, you could stay somewhere stunning and take advantage of one of the all inclusive breaks.  On the northern shore of Jamaica to the east of Montego Bay you’ll find the popular cruise port and resort area of Ocho Rios.  A fabulous place to spend your ultimate location.

\Take a little time to research the weather and tourism in some of your bucket list countries as March and April tend to be the best months for last minute deals.  You may want to avoid south asia though, it is the hottest most humid time of the year there and you are better waiting until the start of autumn to really enjoy this part of the world.
