There are numerous important elements to a wedding. However, one thing that never goes away or changes in a wedding is the wedding flowers. The wedding flowers have the power to completely change the style of your wedding, make it look more beautiful, and give it a special something. If you want your wedding to look luxurious, then you only have to use flowers to help you. If you want it to look super colorful and fun, flowers could be your answer. You get the picture!

To help you, here are 6 floral ideas to make your wedding blooming beautiful:

The 2018 Flower Trends Is…

The most popular flower trend of this year seems to be violet. You could use different shades of purple, lilac, and violet if you want to get in on this. There are all types of flowers that can help you to do this too, from freesias to cala lilies. You can look at wholesale wedding flowers to get an idea of various colors and types available for your big day. Remember, though, don’t just stick to a trend for the sake of it!

Go Green

You don’t actually have to use that many flowers, or flowers at all to make your wedding look stunning. Using lush greenery can work instead, and you can find shades of deep green to grey that will make stunning hanging designs, bouquets, and centerpieces. The goal should be to use different shades of green and different textures to get the look you want. You can use things like herbs and lavender to create a stunning smell too! This works wonderfully with a ‘woodland’ style wedding.

Hanging Designs And Chandeliers

Flowers are no longer reserved for your bouquet or the table. Ever since Kim Kardashian had a flower wall and created that stunning photo backdrop, people have been getting creative with their flowers. If you want to create a very ‘fairy tale’ atmosphere, consider getting creative with your flowers. You could make displays above your tables and aisles, and even include things like floral swings and moon arches.

Incorporating Different Colors Into Your Flowers

Flowers don’t come in all colors of the rainbow – when was the last time you saw a navy blue flower? That doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate different colors into your flower designs, though. You can use things like ribbon, jewelry, and other accent items to include the colors that will tie into your wedding theme. We had special ribbons for a couple of our bridesmaids to represent family we had lost and friends who became family.

Floral Hoops

If you ever went to a wedding in the 1980s or saw photographs, you’ll know that hoops for flower girls were one of the most popular trends. Trends go and then come back around, so this is something lots of brides have started using! The hoops are usually smaller and softer in design and size, however, creating a more romantic, classy feel. Don’t worry about adding a matching crown, either.

Woodland Wedding

A woodland wedding can feel like a true romantic fairy tale if it’s done properly. Using leafy greens as we mentioned above is a must, but make sure you use things like wood, moss, and succulents to create the atmosphere you want, too.

Kendall and I used candles to suppliment our flowers- both in the church and the reception. What flower trend are you loving for weddings?
