Best believe I’m still bejeweled

I don’t know about you, but certain lines from Taylor Swift’s Midnights have been major earworms. At least 20 times a day my brain goes “S H I M M E R” and, quite honestly, I don’t mind one bit.

And by the way, I’m goin’ out tonight
Best believe I’m still bejeweled
When I walk in the room
I can still make the whole place shimmer 

I’m a big fan of all things shimmery. I’ve always been that way. I still remembered Dakota from Sunday school with her gold glitter maryjanes. I would put on glittery makeup to go to the movies on Friday nights in middle schoo. What can I say? I’m just a sparkly girl. I’m glad that Mizz Swift and disco balls and sequins are bringing a glimmer to this season. What do you think about bejeweled – either the song or the trend?
