I think one of the reasons I decided to start a blog is that I find inspiration just about everywhere and want to share it.
Most of you know I have a Zazzle store, and one of the things I do is go on each morning and check if I have made a sale and what the deals of the day are to share with my readers. I also love seeing what other creators have come up with, and the “Be Kind” poster below just struck my fancy. I have a “be kind” collection of my own, but the colors in the poster are a combination I have been eyeing- especially for home décor.
One thing I was not expecting for my future life when I was a little girl planning it- Kendall has OPINIONS. I honestly thought I could just decorate however and he wouldn’t care. ‘Tis not the case. For example, I love leather furniture and he hates it. So one of my original ideas for a living room is out and we have to compromise. That’s fine. That’s what marriage is all about. I just wasn’t expecting to have to compromise on this particular thing because I don’t think Daddy D gave two hoots how my mom decorated (besides when the living room was PINK and he was not expecting that…)
But we have decided when we do get a home that we each want need our own space. A one bedroom apartment is not conducive to that in the slightest and, honestly, it gets hard. Our offices will be totally our own to decorate how we see fit. Mine’s going to have a lot of pink, I’ll tell you that much. And right now, I’m totally loving pink combined with gold and teal.
