One of my favorite recent(ish) follows is is Talia of Dresses & Democracy. Her insta stories are full of feminine outfits and relatable humor. She totally nailed it when she said that headbands are thee closest we can get to wearing a tiara to work. I agree.
My new job (which I LOVE) entails a lot (a L O T) of running around. On Cinco De Mayo, not only did I run a private happy hour, but I also worked as an emergency food runner. I walked 6.5 miles, running around like a crazy person. My “tiara” kept my hair out of my face.
I’m also excited that (as long as I’m able to move furniture etc.) I can dress with as much personality as I want. Business casual is pretty loose – this is what I wore for Cinco. Time to incorporate a bunch more pink!
