I have been sick bascially since I came back from California (which was a dream btw). This happened to coincide with my second to last week of work – a week where I couldn’t take off because we had one of our foreign offices and their guests visiting. By Friday I was in tears and Saturday, my second time with to the doctor and four negative covid tests later, I was told I had allergies that turned into a bacterial infection that turned into super asthma. This is the third time this has happened since 2019.
Anyway, 24 hours and two prescriptions later, I’m starting to feel like myself but not 100% better. I still have a nasty cough and I’m a little stopped up, but I’m not going through a box of tissues a day. PROGRESS. The bummer is that I missed a concert at the 9:30 club on Friday. And I was supposed to go to a comedy show on Sunday but that ended up being canceled. Probably for the best. I spent the evening binging Selling Sunset instead.
I don’t know why these trashy reality shows are so aspirational. I don’t want to be a tacky real estate Barbie, but I am envious of them living their sunny lives in whatever outfits they want. Christine, especially… girl I cannot stand you but can we talk about THIS LEWK! I love it. Anyway while watching this absolute atrocity, I was just feeling LA vibes. Sunshine, leisure… all that jazz.
And just more pink and green because that’s all I want right now.
