‘Tis. The. Season.
I have three holiday parties in 2 weeks. One is an ugly sweater brunch next Sunday, but the other two are after-work events. I am so psyched because this week, I’m going to my high school alumni Christmas party at (DRUM ROLL!) Mission! Not only is it one of my fave spots, but it’s also literally on my way home. How could I even think of missing this one?
Since I’m going right from work to this happy hour situation, I want to wear something that can go from desk to drinks. Admittedly, this outfit has more OOMPH than I’d usually wear to the office, but it’s not too far out of the realm of what I can get away with.
None of these pieces are new. I found the dress at Nordstrom Rack randomly last year, the vest was a Christmas present from Nordstrom a couple of years ago, and I *think* the boots were from Macy’s last year. Girl, you do naht need to get a new outfit for every occasion. Mix of pieces you love to create a new look. You may even recognize the dress from this post.
