It’s funny that as pink as my apartment is, as rose gold as my accessories are, I just don’t own that much in the way of pink clothing. I think that’s because I need to wear very specific shades of pink. I tend to wear, this time of year, a lot of wine, cognac, black, and green. I can do well in blush but it can’t lean too foward in either blue or tan or else my own coloring will look weird.

Last weekend, I met up with Dani for her first in-person pop-up for her new project, Pretty Kitty! She’s selling vintage and vintage-esque products inspired by her hunt for ceramic kitties. I ended up wearing this fab sparkly tulle skirt with a tee from Crubs and Whiskers, and I loved how all the pink made me feel. You probably won’t catch me wearing a pink tutu to the office anytime soon, but maybe I should incorporate more into my wardrobe, especially for fall!
