The term “social pouchy” has been between my friend Casey and I for years. She had a little pouch with flamingos on it that had her essentials that could easily go from purse to purse. I feel like going back and forth from DC now, it’s even more important for me to have perfected what goes in mine. Not that I’ve been recently going out or staying anywhere (or even going into the office consistently), but it stays packed and ready for a quick toss into the work bag.
At this point, my own social pouchy is basically a modified overnight cosmetic case, no shampoo or anything but definitely includes what I’d need to spruce up. The best part is that this is airport friendly as well, so once we’re all safely traveling again, you can move your gear from your work bag to your carry-on.
If you really need to pair it down, lip gloss, perfume, a travel deodorant, and a mini mascara should do ya.
