I think everyone knows at least one purple person. You know what I mean? They’re just super into purple. They might have had purple walls as a kid, a purple dorm room, purple kitchen appliances, etc. I’m a pink gal myself, but on of the trending colors for this spring is soft lilac and I can totally dig it.
If ever there was a time to adopt a new favorite color, it’s now with soft lilac trending on the runway. For anyone who’s said they don’t like purple, this shade, with its gray undertone and a pastel-like finish, will win you over. Though it may be easy on the eyes, it still commands attention in power-suit form. Don’t underestimate the person wearing it.
I actually L O V E the idea of a pastel powersuit, as seen on Dani in 2018 (always a trendsetter before her time)! She totally rocks the monochamtic look. I’m just not a suit girl myself. If I’m dressing up for work, I’ll put a blazer over a dress and call it a day.
Really though, as a not-purple girl, I think my way to rock it would be in accessories, or makeup. Purple eyeshadow makes my eyes look super green, and I feel like glasses would do the same thing.
