I’ve always loved a good red, white, and blue combo. It makes me think of my favorite Popsicles, the 4th of July, and the beach. Unless it’s in a tartan, it definitely seems like more of a summer combo than anything else.
My family always celebrates on the 3rd of July because that’s when the club we belong to has their big party. It’s BBQ, dranks on dranks, and fireworks under my sister’s memorial tree. It’s always a good time and then I don’t feel pressure to *gO oUt* for the 4th when everything is crowded. Last year, Kendall and I went to a get-together at Dani’s apartment. We watched fireworks all over the city from her sun room and it was so nice. This year I’m not sure what (if anything) we’re doing on the 4th but I’m already thinking about my look for my big 3rd.
ps- I checked this out because I wasn’t sure and I’ve heard things the past few years. It is totally fine to wear clothes inspired by the American Flag. What’s not cool is wearing the flag itself, like as a cape, for example.
