Happy Friday!

This weekend, Kendall and I are celebrating my old roommate’s birthday at Nooshi but other than that… NO PLANS! I think I’m going to use that time to tackle the closet of no return in out entry hallway. That’s where our Christmas tree lives, and despite the fact that Kendall told me he wouldn’t come home if I put our tree up before Thanksgiving, I want to make sure it’s ready to go and easy to access as soon as that time comes!

What I bought & what I want

Being born in ’89, I really am a 90s baby and therefore in total love with this Love for 90’s T-Shirt.

The Bronwen bag from Urban Expressions is the cutest little cross body for winter!

I’ve gone buffalo plaid mad and this Off Shoulder Buffalo Plaid Sweater is something I would totally wear for Thanksgiving.

Don’t forget you can always peek at my wish list over in my sidebar. Here’s what I’m currently craving:

Around the internet

I could go on an on about things I love about New jersey, but the bagels are a huge thing I miss. My sorority little’s mom actually sent me home with a bag of bagels the last time I visited. That’s why I am SUPER excited to try Call Your Mother Deli. Somehow, I married a man who does not like bagels so I literally group-chatted all of my blogger friends immediately asking if anyone wanted to go. I’m like, really passionate about a good bagel. via Bitches Who Brunch

For Thanksgiving, I tend to rock some kind of cozy sweater dress and leggings. I don’t usually go out and buy something to wear to my parents’ house, but I do like to look nice as I consider myself a bit of a cohost. I love the idea of using pieces you already own to create a chic look.  via Damsel in Dior

I’ve never thought about how some decisions made my shoppers are “untrackable”, even though they use social media to influence their purchasing. via district of chic

With the holidays coming up, so are a lot of chances to eat. Instead of punishing yourself for eating that extra slice of pie, why not try allowing it and enjoying it? I’d never heard of intuitive eating before, but it makes sense and I’ve experienced it! If I eat junk for a couple days, my bod tells me to give it a salad. If I had a soda when I want it, I don’t want it anymore for a while after I’ve had it. Your body tells you what it needs/ wants- you just have to listen! via Cup of Jo

Ever since I learned how to read, I’ve truly believed in the magic of books. I got my DC library card earlier this year, and visiting the library still feels so special. I almost cried reading this post about Finding Home in a Public Library, because it actually transported me to the little library I grew up going to in Olney. My mom never minded dropping money on books (and still doesn’t) but going to the library was still always such an adventure. Apparently DC libraries, like the neighborhoods they reside in, all have their own character. Have you been to any? What is your favorite? via Wit & Delight
