Happy Friday!
I am SO SO SO SO SO excited for this weekend. Tomorrow I’m taking a friend to Rocklands for wine tasting for her birthday then to Seasons 52 for lunch with my mom. Tomorrow night Kendall gets back from 3 weeks in Arizona for work and then SUNDAY IS OUR ANNIVERSARY! I can’t believe it’s been a year since we got married!

I actually got this facial spray to hit $100 for free shipping on jeans but GURL it smells like a spa. I’m keeping it in my desk for pick-me-ups at work.
Currently wearing this Long Sleeve Swing Dress from Gap Factory. It’s so soft and looks especially great belted! Unbelted it hits just at my knees so shorties might want to try it in petite if you don’t want to belt it!
I’ve been saying for years that I want to get back into dancing and I finally have! I’ve been trying out all the classes at Jordin’s Paradise in DuPont Circle and I’m SO excited to do hip-hop tonight!
I finally stopped into Gregory’s Coffee– there’s one just across the street from my office. I recommend the iced Honey Badger- but only if you like your coffee sweet!
Don’t forget you can always peek at my wish list over in my sidebar. Here’s what I’m currently craving:

I’ve had the craziest week this week and since I knew it was coming, I wanted to prep some easy meals for when I got home. I actually made a few Cauliflower Rice Burrito Bowls – not following this recipe per-say, but definitely the main idea. So easy, filling, and practically guilt free! via Minimalist Baker
I truly am finding that I want less of a relationship with things the older I get. I found this really interesting post about how one woman’s loss of almost all of her possessions changed her relationship with material stuff and helped her develop a business based on home organization. Savannah, GA may is one of my favorite cities- if not my absolute favorite. Kendall and I are already talking our 5 year vow renewals here I loved reading Jean’s travel diary– and want to go back and try the places she went! via Extra Petite
My PMS has gotten progressively worse the older I get. I can almost guarantee that the Friday before my visitor will kick off a weekend of tears and anger. One doctor I spoke to suggested Zolft for a few days of every month (umm… no?) and then the same doctor tried me on a new birth control that felt like it was trying to kill me from the inside, with no warning of any side effects. Needless to say, I won’t be seeing her again! Back to my regular routine and just figuring I’m stuck crying a weekend a month. Not all hope is lost- I’m going to try some of the tips for How To Ditch Your PMS The Natural Way. via Camille Styles
The first time I had gin, it was out of a water bottle in the back seat of a cab (not an Uber or Lyft) on my way to Rhino with my friend Tiffy. All class, all the time. G+Ts became my drink of choice for a while, somewhere between my fireball phase and my current prosecco/ marg phase. But for summer, how yum does a Watermelon Gin Cocktail sound? via Monica Dutia
Have a great weekend!
Haha your story! I love it. Thank you so much for sharing my recipe–cheers to gin!
