I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry.
Maybe starting a new blog less than a month before going away on a week-long road trip and then moving a week after that was not one of my brightest plans. But here we are and I plan on getting back into the swing of things and feeling like a real human again. Thanks to the help of my parents and my stylist’s amazing husband, Kendall and I at least have everything in our Glover Park paradise- which we have named Pride Rock. We are so thrilled to be getting back into a routine and living NOT out of suitcases.
While my original plan was to do multiple outfit shoots on my trip, we honestly were so busy fitting in time with friends and family. It just wasn’t in the card for me to be a great blogger, and that’s ok. Really. He got to meet some people very special to me on our way home and we got to sneak in a couple days in Savannah. I’ve always wanted to go and it was even sweater than I imagined. We got lost in a few antique shops, took a horse-drawn tour around the city, shopped a bit, and ate way too much food. I highly recommend visiting, and would love to give you travel tips if you’re planning on it! (Looking at you, Sarah!)
My little tie-dye t shirt dress was an easy-breezy (and easy to pack!) vacation lifesaver. Seriously, it was HOT down there. Not that that’s any different than summer in DC, but usually I’m in a nice cold office and we were walking EVERYWHERE. It was a little short, but I can see it being a fall/ winter staple with leggings and boots on weekends. We all know I love the t shirt dress, but for packing it was seriously the best. What’s your go-to pack-able favorite?
