What should you see in Arizona?
You have to be absolutely crazy to visit Arizona and not take the opportunity to visit the Grand Canyon. This world famous amazing natural wonder is a whopping eighteen miles at its widest point, and a mile deep, and it has to be seen to be believed. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can hike or take a helicopter to the floor of the Canyon. Alternatively, take a shuttle ride along the rim to drink in views that are sure to inspire wonder and unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
The Saguaro National Monument is also well worth seeing during your trip. It is here that you will get to check out the Saguaros, which are giant cacti that look like they’ve come straight from a film set – they are genuine natural wonders, so don’t forget your camera!
Visit Monument Valley Tribal Park to channel your inner cowboy (or cowgirl!), as this is the site where many of the world’s most famous and popular western movies have been shot. The park features awe-inspiring formations of sand and rock that reach up to 1000 feet from the floor of the desert. This is Navajo territory, so the best way to look around and find out about the history of the area is by going on a jeep tour with a genuine Navajo tribe member – you will be amazed at what you can learn!
